We believe Jesus commissioned us as His followers to go and make disciples. We are to share the Gospel with those in our neighborhoods and throughout the nations. We do this as we live daily in our personal lives with those we can influence. We do this corporately as a part of the Body of Christ through sending missionaries, or workers, who can reach in areas and ways that we can’t. We send them with our prayers, our encouragement, and financial support.  We also do this by looking for opportunities to personally go and serve in other cultures, becoming more aware of God’s vast work to draw people from every tongue and tribe to worship Him.

At the heart of this ministry is a desire to equip and encourage women to be Titus 2 women. Titus 2 encourages women to not only live live's that honor the Lord, but to also teach younger women how to faithfully follow Christ as well.  As we pursue relationships with one another, we prayerfully consider how we might use our gifts to spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Heritage has several Sunday morning and midweek Bible Study options for women (see details above). We also have several gatherings throughout the year for women to come together for fellowship and encouragement.  

The Men's ministry at Heritage seeks to encourage and equip men in all stages of life to disciple and be discipled by one another.  This is fostered through dedicated book studies in the midweek 4Men classes, through periodic fellowships such as Guys Night, and through other events such as Flee the City where fathers and sons can get away with one another for mutual encouragement.  There are also opportunities for one-on-one discipleship and other small groups.

The Life Adult Ministry (those 60 and above) at Heritage is dedicated to leading the next generation to follow in delighting in God and declaring His glory! Our aim is to continue to invest our lives in deepening our intimacy with Christ Jesus and we pray our lifetime of experiences and gifting blesses our families, our church and the world around us. Our Life Adults are an essential part of Heritage and many are involved in several areas of ministries like: the welcome team, choir/orchestra, children's ministry, missions trips, quilting ministry, prison ministry, etc. The Life Adults also have several monthly luncheons with guest speakers/music and an annual retreat and local service project.

The music ministry at Heritage Baptist Church exists to joyfully follow the words of Scripture, to glorify the Triune God, to encourage holiness and faith, and to directly support the preaching of the Word in our gathered times of worship. The most important musical entity in the church is the congregation. The choir, the orchestra, the praise team, and the worship leader all work toward the goal of supporting and assisting the local body of Christ in their singing to the Savior.  The truths of Scripture are gladly proclaimed through music to teach and admonish one another and to encourage thankfulness to God (Colossians 3:16-17).
