"We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord,

His power, and the wonders He has done."

Psalm 78:4

Our Children's Ministry exists to partner with parents in developing the next generation to delight in God and declare His Glory.  This is the purpose and vision for everything we do.  We are committed to praying for and equipping you, the parent, understanding that you are ultimately your child’s faith-trainer. We are equally committed to working diligently to provide the best care for your children while here at Heritage, which includes ensuring that our staff and volunteers have passed background checks and received MinistrySafe Training.

Sunday  9:00 a.m.

Nursery (birth through 2 years)
We begin introducing biblical truths to these little ones through frequent use and illustration. Those serving in the nursery are encouraged to pray for the Lord’s work in their hearts, while they are in our care.

3yrs through 4th grade
Generations of Grace is a biblically based and God-centered Sunday School curriculum. While every class covers the same passage of Scripture, the lessons are taught based on age levels.
The Bridge (5th-6th grade)
To help bridge the gap between elementary and teenage years, The Bridge aims to equip children with study skills and habits to grow in knowing, understanding, and applying God’s Word.

Sunday  10:30 a.m.

Nursery and Pre-K
Our nursery and preschool classes are introduced to worship through interactive props, music, and repetition. The preschoolers have a Bible lesson and activities while parents attend the worship service.

Kindergarten and Elementary
School-aged children will attend the Worship service with their parents. This provides a wonderful context for children to learn songs of the faith, witness baptisms and the Lord’s Supper, and to observe their parents studying the Word and singing the truths of Scripture.

Wednesday 6:30 p.m.

Pre-K through 4th grade
Adventure Club is an exciting children’s ministry program meeting during the school year and focuses on Bible memorization and teaching the truth of God’s Word in a fun and meaningful way.  Adventure Club exists to glorify God through evangelizing children and encouraging parents. Children will be taught systematic theology broken down for their specific age level.

The Bridge (5th-6th grade)
On Wednesday's  during the school year, the Bridge will also use the age-graded Adventure Club curriculum to guide the teaching as the students will be learning systematic theology little-by-little.  Students will also work on Scripture memory, have game time, small groups, and a time of singing. As an introduction to missions, the 5th-6th graders are given opportunities to serve the church body throughout the year.
